GOALS:

- Conducting and coordinating research on the history of emigration, including emigration waves: 1945, 1968, 1981- 1989, before 2004 and after the enlargement of the European Union structures.
- Cooperation with: World Council for Research on Polonia, Polish Association in Great Britain, Embassy of the Republic of Poland, University College London, and national universities, expressed in jointly organized scientific conferences and symposia, implementation of individual teaching and research programs.
- To promote the latest research and publications of the research staff of the department.
