The Africa Studies Unit was established at the PUNO’s Faculty of Social Sciences in October 2021 in order to conduct scientific research and implement projects in the field of history, culture and social issues concerning and happening on the African continent. The main goals of ASU are achieved by: organizing symposia and international scientific conferences, scientific publications, participating in discussions and public debates, promoting the unit and the university in social media, especially those devoted to the ASU, as well as establishing international relations in the field of African studies.
