W ramach międzywydziałowego projektu pt. “Polskie Szkoły Sobotnie w kontekście pedagogiki miejsca”, zespół badawczy podjął inicjatywę przeprowadzenia badania pilotażowego. “Polish Saturday Schools in the context of the pedagogy of place”, a project team headed by Justyna Gorzkowicz, PhD has taken the initiative to conduct a pilot study. Its objective is to examine the ways in which Polish pupils and teachers engage in helping the victims of war in Ukraine.

The head of the Department of Teaching Polish Language and Culture, Mrs D Hrycak-Krzyzanowska has started a series of Polish language courses for Ukrainian refugees in Poland. The first group of students already had a lesson.
Mrs Hrycak-Krzyżanowska was positively surprised by a proffesional preparation of co-partners. Organisational preparation was done at the top level. Additionally, IT specialists were supporting students in their first lesson to assure there are no technology related surprises.

For the 8th time, PUNO conducts the “Teaching Polish as a Foreign Language” course. Prof. Pałuszynska conducts classes with the course participants.
