Dotychczas nie stworzono na tak wysokim szczeblu instytucjonalnym kompleksowego narzędzia edukacyjnego, które w sposób systemowy łączyłoby edukację artystyczną (muzyka, teatr) z technologią wirtualnej rzeczywistości (VR). Projekt Opera VR osadza proces kształcenia w technologii, która pozostaje innowacyjna, a jednocześnie staje się nieuchronnym elementem współczesnej rzeczywistości edukacyjnej.

Opera VR tworzy nowy model środowiska uczenia się i badań, skierowany do dzieci oraz środowisk akademickich, integrując praktykę artystyczną, refleksję naukową i zaawansowane narzędzia immersyjne.

Wydarzenie w Londynie stanowi część międzynarodowej serii spotkań upowszechniających rezultaty projektu (Włochy – Wielka Brytania). Dla PUNO jest to nobilitująca forma współpracy międzynarodowej oraz włączenie w projekt o wysokim prestiżu instytucjonalnym i europejskim znaczeniu strategicznym.

Opera VR – A Unique International Project Integrating Music, Theatre and Virtual Reality in Education

On 8 March 2026, Polish University Abroad (PUNO) in London will host an international dissemination event presenting Opera VR: Virtual Learning and Research Hub, developed within the framework of the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

This event represents a distinctive milestone at the international level. Never before has an educational tool of this scope been developed at such a high institutional level, systematically integrating artistic education (music and theatre) with immersive virtual reality technologies. Opera VR positions learning within a technological framework that remains innovative while simultaneously becoming an inevitable component of contemporary educational practice.

The project establishes a new model of learning and research environment for children and academic communities, combining artistic practice, scholarly reflection and advanced immersive tools.

The London event forms part of an international dissemination series across Italy and the United Kingdom. For PUNO, this collaboration represents a prestigious form of international engagement and participation in a project of significant institutional standing and strategic European relevance.

The creators and editors of the Opera VR project are Alessandra Montali and Alessandro Roccatagliati, whose work has contributed significantly to the development of this unique educational and artistic initiative.
